i upgraded from 1.4 to 1.6 and am getting this error. i am puzzled.

14602 files in pk3 files

I assume you're using putty to run mlds.sh ? If it's the case, make sure u're not pressing any key while the server starts (the signal 11 problem already happend to me when i pressed a key by mistake while it was starting).

If it doesnt work, use N!tmod 2.0b6

I don't think so he is using putty since he is hosting his server at gs.com

Post the full logs and it will help.
